Incredible Destination of Padar Island
14 February 2023 358x Destination
Padar Island is one of the main destinations for tourists who visit Komodo Park. This island is a part of the cluster of Komodo National Park and the island is as exotic as Flores. It’s about 25 miles from Labuan Bajo and the journey normally takes 3 to 4 hours with a slow boat, or less than half that long with a fast boat.
Since this island is addictive, skipping a piece of happiness on this island is something you would regret! Therefore, you should have to find the ways to get there and what you can see in the park.
Travelers can enjoy most of the top sights of Komodo National Park, which includes Padar, in one full day’s sail, or it’s possible to stay in a liveaboard boat and spend several days sightseeing and sailing surrounding the park.
The top viewpoint at Padar Island is incredible, the landscape really does look like a Jurassic Park set. This island looks like it has an old giant volcano, with three bays where you can see a white beach, black beach, and pink beach. Each of those sand colors is pretty special in itself, but to see all of them in one place is crazy. This is probably the only place in the world where you can witness that!
It is not only an incredible landscape view and has several beaches with different colors, but if you are a diver who loves to see the unique reef corals, this is the right place to do diving and snorkeling. This little paradise has wonderful underwater scenery with forty-two attractive diving spots.
